Ensembles

Our ensembles, bands, orchestras, and choirs have been incredibly successful with our in-school music programs. The ensemble program is especially transformative for children as it gives them the opportunity to engage in new musical interests alongside one another in a supportive environment, develop critical listening skills that become incredibly useful throughout all areas of school and social life, and hone their instrumental skills while working in a team.

Ensembles rehearse once a week throughout the school term for thirty to sixty minutes, preparing repertoire arranged by our teachers. The material varies depending on number of band members, skill level, and areas of musical interest.

Schools have been afforded a fantastic luxury via the ensemble program, with bands showcasing their talents at school assemblies, end-of-year concerts, school productions/musicals, fetes, and specially organised showcase nights held by OMNI Music lessons.
