At a beginner level, we use a progressive learning curriculum called Band Karate to get children engaged in learning music as quickly as possible. This program lays out a clear pathway from setting up the instrument to playing songs, and students get rewarded along the way with a coloured 'belt' whenever they reach a new level.

At an intermediate to advanced level, we use the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) curriculum. AMEB examinations are based on syllabuses designed by leading scholars and performers, regularly updated to ensure that they reflect an appropriate range of performance skills and the latest musicological research.

Throughout all our levels of tuition, we endeavour to tailor our lessons to the musical preferences of each individual. We strongly believe that every musician should be encouraged to learn and play the music that they enjoy!

Lesson costs vary depending on the size of the student group. Ideally, all beginner lessons are taught in groups of three. This particular group size is large enough for students to encourage each other as a team and also feel comfortable in a new and unique learning environment, it is also small enough for teachers to gauge students’ ability, attitude, and personal needs and learning preferences.

30 minute lessons - $40 per student  
45 minute lessons - $60 per student 
60 minute lessons - $80 per student 
*Reduced fees for groups lessons of three of more students*

We believe all children should have the opportunity to receive music education. If financial disadvantage is the reason your child cannot attend music lessons, please get in contact with us to discuss payment plans or discounted rates.
